25 years building businesses and technology in Fort Worth — and I'm still here.

I've been working in technology since the late 1990s — across companies of every size and vertical, consulting for businesses and higher education, and founding several companies along the way. I've worked all over the DFW Metroplex, traveled internationally as part of an acquisition, and worked with teams on virtually every side of the globe.

I grew up in Fort Worth with a father who spent his career on the flight line — starting at General Dynamics and retiring from what had by then become Lockheed Martin. Growing up around that world, flight terminology just became part of how I think. That's probably why Takeoff resonates as the standard for where I like to take businesses: the work isn't done until there's real operational lift.

Today that means helping Fort Worth service business owners get their operations and technology actually working together. Sometimes that's AI — and we use it extensively in our own operation, which means we implement what we live inside daily, not what we theorize about. Sometimes it's replacing a system the business has outgrown. Sometimes it's fixing a process, clarifying a KPI structure, or making sure technology vendors are delivering what they're being paid for. We start with what's real.

There's a good chance we've already crossed paths — at the Fort Worth Chamber, the Parker County Chamber, or somewhere in the community we've both been part of for years. If we haven't yet, I'd like to change that.
